Marcus Samperi is a Filmmaker, Camera Operator and Writer based in London

With a media career spanning 20-years he still has the same fondness for the industry as he did as a mere 16-year old embarking on his first job assisting on a Saturday sports show for local radio. Here he found himself organising interviews, writing scripts, liaising with contributors and creating/editing content for broadcast both in a live and pre-recorded environment.

This lead onto a long stint in post-production specialising in video editing and end-user interfacing including online and DVD format focusing mainly on documentary, commercial and corporate productions.

During this time he found additional work as a camera operator capturing footage for television news including the BBC and ITN. This eventually took over from post-production and led Marcus into the high-end world of feature film, television drama, music promo, fashion content and commercials working with some of the biggest names both in front and behind the camera.

​Along the way Marcus has continued to write copy for websites mainly in the area of adventure travel for the #GetOutdoors related industry. Writing is - and will always be - a passion for Marcus especially in the non-fiction world. He is always keen to be working on commissions that inform, educate and entertain the reader.
